BRAVE SIACHEN MARTYRS
7 April 2012, most of us might
not have remembered what happened on this day.135 people died on this day, do
we remember them? Well, 7 April 2012 is one of the sorrowful days for us. It is
the day when we lost our 135 brave people. On 7 April 2012 a destructive
avalanche knocked Pakistani army headquarters at Gayari near the Siachen
glacier. Due to which 135 people among which 124 were soldiers and rest 11 were
civilians, were buried alive deep down in snow. Those brave people were
performing their duties on the world’s highest battlefield in the most
difficult circumstances, as we all know that the temperature on Siachen glacier
is extremely frigid and it is highly difficult for normal people to survive in
these extreme conditions, but our heroes were performing their duties at their
best and even without complaining. The force which kept driving them was the
love, the love for their country, the love for their people and the passion to
protect their country. What great soldiers we have! Does not it seem an
ungrateful act if we forget them? Let us imagine ourselves in their place,
leave this thought let’s think if we were part of their family how would we
feel that our father, brother or son who devoted his life for his country and
his people, and those people do not even remember him. It is itself a very
painful thought. Our these heroes had reached the destination which they dreamt
of, they had sacrificed their lives and earned the utmost title of ‘SHAHEED’,
their families are sad because of loosing them but at the same time they are
very happy and proud of them because of their this great achievement. We being the
people of Pakistan, should always remember our true heroes and their sacrifice.
We should thank Allah the Almighty for gifting us such great souls, somewhere
because of them we are living a peaceful and secure life. Let us make a
resolution that while praying for ourselves we will pray for our country, for
our soldiers and their strong families, we will always support and stand for
our army, we will remember them in our happiness and always be grateful to them
for serving us. WE SALUTE YOU OUR TRUE HEROES…LONG LIVE PAKISTAN…LONG LIVE
PAKISTAN ARMY.
